July 2026

Jul 20, 2026

We're past the halfway mark of 2026. For many of us, this is the season where the energy of January's goals meets the reality of summer schedules. It's also a perfect moment to pause and check: Are we being faithful stewards of what's already in motion?

At Thrive, we believe stewardship isn't just about money. It's caring well for the people, systems, and vision God has entrusted to you. Mid-year is the perfect time to ask: What's working? What needs attention before year-end sneaks up on us?

Nonprofit Succession | 3 Things To Do NOW!

Connection Group and Community Learning Lab.

Thursday, July 23rd at 1PM CST - via Zoom

We’ve loved staying connected with you in the Master’s Circle Community. If you haven’t joined the new Master’s Circle Community Connection Group yet, be sure to hop in here: check in and join us! It’s the best place to find updates, build meaningful connections, and get all the details for our upcoming Learning Lab. Christian is sharing this month on Donor Analysis

What this looks like in practice: We protect trust by assuming the best and taking responsibility. We communicate early, keep commitments, and follow through without needing reminders. We guard trust with humility, refusing to let pride distort reality. We benchmark ourselves against the best, then own what needs to change.

"But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment." — James 5:12

Trust is the invisible infrastructure underneath every financial report, every board conversation, every staff relationship. When trust is strong, hard conversations become productive. When trust breaks down, even good data gets ignored.

We believe the way we serve speaks to something deeper: our word means something. When we say we'll deliver a dashboard by Thursday, it's there. When priorities shift, we tell you first, not last.

That's the glue.

Growing up in a military family meant these two didn...

One of the best parts of Thrive is the people, both the clients we serve and the team we get to serve alongside. Sara captured it so well in her words below, and we’re grateful for her and the way she shows up for our clients and our team. "Working as a fractional CFO for Thrive Nonprofit feels less like a contract and more like a calling. It is rare to find a leadership team that doesn't...

Strategic decisions rarely live in one lane. Staffing affects programming; programming affects capacity; capacity affects funding; and growth affects everything. That is why we walk alongside leaders as they evaluate options, pressure-test assumptions, and make decisions with clarity and confidence. Whether you are considering a key hire, expanding a program, launching a capital campaign, ...
