One of the best parts of Thrive is the people, both the clients we serve and the team we get to serve alongside. Sara captured it so well in her words below, and we’re grateful for her and the way she shows up for our clients and our team.
"Working as a fractional CFO for Thrive Nonprofit feels less like a contract and more like a calling. It is rare to find a leadership team that doesn't just "talk" about faith and family but actually builds their schedule and culture around both of these. It is so refreshing to know that Terisa and the Thrive team create an atmosphere where I am trusted with my clients but also have a space to navigate difficult issues with the team. I’m given the ability to speak the truth, even when the numbers tell a difficult story, knowing that honesty is valued over optics. We don't get bogged down in the "busyness" of soul-crushing hours; instead, our desire is for meaningful outcomes. This focus gives me the freedom to be fully present for my own family while delivering my best strategic work for the firm. It’s a partnership where I’m valued for my insight and character, not just my spreadsheet."

Sara’s heart for serving extends beyond her work with nonprofits. She recently returned from a missions trip to India, and she wrote about what God did through that experience. If you’d like to read it, you can find her book here.

We’re also excited to share that we are hiring. If you know someone who is passionate about helping nonprofits build strong financial and operational foundations, we’d love for you to share this opportunity with them.
Ambleside Christian School Spotlight

Shout-out to Ambleside Christian School for the momentum they are building this year as they plan for the future and invest in strong, healthy systems. Honored to support their team as they strengthen financial clarity, budgeting, and stewardship practices that serve their mission well.
The school is founded on Charlotte Mason's philosophy and practice:Life should be all living, and not merely a tedious passing of time; not all doing or all feeling or all thinking—the strain would be too great—but, all living; that is to say, we should be in touch wherever we go, whatever we hear, whatever we see, with some manner of vital interest. The question is not—how much does the youth know when he has finished his education—but how much does he care?— CHARLOTTE M. MASON —
